Valorant Gamechangers

We are happy to announce our entry into Valorant Gamechangers. After being a notable contender in the Challenger series for some time, we are now commited to build a team that is capable of going up against the very best of EMEA.

The team has already competed in the Beacon qualifier for the Northern European teams, and impressed straight away with a third place finish with little to no practice beforehand. They also qualified for the final stage of the Series 2 EMEA series, and did a great run falling only to the veterans in Mad Lions and Zerance Mint.

We had the pleasure to talk to the Norwegian talent right before we started our Contenders campaign, Mali, about the upcoming challenges.

You and the team had little practice together before jumping into the Beacon tournament, yet you still finished third. What are your thoughts about this performance? 

I`m pretty happy me and the girls could put together a good performance and finish third after little time to prepare, however I feel we got a much heigher skill ceiling and we can`t wait to show it!

Going into this Contenders open qualifier with a longer period to practice, how do you feel about the chances for qualification?

I feel we were so close to qualifying through the Beacons tournament, so it`s an absolute goal for the team to make it this time around!

With players from various countries, how is the chemistry and communication working out?

It works out really good at the moment. Everyone is putting in the necessary effort to make things run well! The vibe and synergy is absolutely there, and we are still making progress every day!

Can you tell us a little about why you started to play Valorant, and how long you`ve been playing?

I started playing Valorant because when I was younger I loved playing video games, and the competition aspect of it. I also had a dad who supported my ambitions and goals, and that motivated me a lot! The drive to win tournaments is a huge goal for me! I began playing Valorant like two years ago, but didn`t start to fully compete before around one year ago.
